To Bill: How long do you need for styling?

Bill: Actually no longer than the others. I would say around 10-15 minutes for everything . I’m very good at this, so it really goes fast. But there are days where I’m not in the mood to do it and then I look like him (Tom).

Tom: But I still look better but he is talking himself into it…..
Bill: Anyways, we look very similar then.

To Bill: Did you style yourself like this always?

Bill: Always. The boys got to know me like this. We’re together since six years now, I think. Tom and I started to make music when we were seven and then we were looking for a bassist and drummer and that was when we met the two six years ago. And they only know me like this. I started really aerly with styling.

Bill and Tom..aren’t you to skinny?

Tom: We can eat what we want to and were always slim. It always was like that.
Bill: Yeah, we can eat what we want and just don’t gain weight. I think we just burn the calories very well. We were already thinking someone should impose this as a kind of sport, because if you’re on stage performing for 90 minutes that is actually high performance sport. And we just played two tours.

What do you say to people who don’t like you?

Tom: Basically it’s totally normal. It’s with every band, I mean we also have bands we don’t like and this is really something normal and we respect if people don’t like our music. Each of us is listening to different music and istn’s no problem.

Parents

Bill: We’ve had the luck that we got a lot freedom. They never restricted something or told us what to do.

Tom: Of course is there always a certain caution because I think parents are always…….

Bill: Surely they worry, but we always had a good relationship. We never had to be scared to say something or we never had to accomodate.

Do you see yourself as superstars?

Bill: I think no one sees himself as superstar but there is no discussion that Germany is in need of superstars. But we ourselves don’t see us as superstars. We’re the same as before.
Sometimes we even forget and go out on the streets and then we’re surprised that people recognize us etc.
I really forget it sometimes that people know me and that I’m famous.

To Tom: Basecaps

Tom: I collect them. I probably have around fifty caps.

Georg and Gustav….. Don’t you have to say something?

Georg: We talk less but if we have to say something we do it.
Gustav: We’re the more quiet ones of the band and talk not much anyways. So, it’s normal.

Para Bill: ¿Cuanto necesitas para arreglarte?
Bill: De hecho, no mucho más que los demás. Diría que unos 10 ó 15 minutos para todo. Se me da muy bien, así que voy realmente rápido. Pero hay días que no estoy de humor de matarme, i entonces me parezco a él (Tom).
Tom: pero yo sigo estando mejor aunque el siga hablando de sí mismo…
Bill: de todas formas, entonces nos parecemos bastante…

Para Bill: ¿siempre te has arreglado así?
Bill: siempre. Los chicos me tuvieron que conocer así. Estamos juntos des de hace unos 6 años ahora, creo. Tom y yo empezamos a componer música cuando teníamos siete, entonces estuvimos buscando un bajo y un batería, y así fue como conocimos a estos dos seis años atrás. Y solo me han conocido así. Empecé muy pronto a arreglarme.

Para Bill y Tom: realmente sois tan poca cosa?
Tom: podemos comer cuanto queramos y siempre estamos delgados. siempre ha sido así.
Bill: Sí, podemos comer lo que queramos i no ganamos peso. Creo que simplemente quemamos muy bien las calorías. Estábamos pensando en que alguien nos debería lo debería imponer como un tipo de deporte, ya que si estas en el escenario actuando durante 90 minutos es de hecho un deporte duro. Y solo hemos actuado en dos tours.


¿Qué le decís a la gente que no les gustáis?
Tom: básicamente es totalmente normal. Pasa con todas las bandas, quiero decir, incluso nosotros tenemos bandas que no nos gustan y esto algo sumamente normal y respetamos a la gente que no les gusta nuestra música. Cada uno de nosotros escucha música diferente y no es un problema.

Padres.
Bill: hemos tenido la suerte de haber tenido mucha libertad. Nunca nos han prohibido algo o nos han dicho que tenemos que hacer.
Tom: por supuesto siempre hay algo de precaución porque creo que los padres son siempre…
Bill: Claro que se preocupan, pero siempre hemos tenido una buena relación. Nunca hemos tenido miedo de decir algo o nunca nos hemos sentido incómodos.

¿Os veis a vosotros mismos como grandes estrellas?
Bill: Yo creo que nadie se ve a si mismo como una gran estrella pero no hay discusión en que Alemania necesita grandes estrellas. Aunque no nos veamos a nosotros mismos como tales. Somos los mismos de antes. A veces incluso nos olvidamos, y salimos a la calle y nos sorprendemos de que la gente nos reconozca etc. De veras que a veces olvido que soy famoso y que la gente me conoce.

Para Tom: Gorras.
Tom: las colecciono. Probablemente tengo unas 50 gorras
Para Georg y Gustav: no tenéis nada que decir?
Georg: hablamos menos pero si lo tenemos que decir lo hacemos.
Gustav: Somos los más calmados de la banda y no hablamos mucho de todas formas. Por lo tanto, es normal.
